After the Chuseok holiday, the final wave of autumn university festivals arrives. Starting with Kyung Hee University Global Campus on Monday, September 28, Sungkonghoe University, Dongduk Women's University, Dongguk University, Hanyang University ERICA, Korea University, Konkuk University, Hanyang University Seoul, and Sungkyunkwan University Natural Sciences Campus will all hold festivals within six days, with the season closing with the Yon-Ko Games on October 2-3. There are no confirmed university festivals after the Hangeul Day holiday (October 9-11).
As of September 29, the lineups for Hanyang University Seoul Campus (October 1-2) and Sungkyunkwan University Natural Sciences Campus Day 2 (October 2) have been officially confirmed and are included in this week's table. Concluded schools are recorded below in 'Season Wrap-up,' and after the Yon-Ko Games, this page will transition to providing information for the 2027 spring season. Last updated: September 29, 2026.

Several things stand out. Chosun University hosted sixteen teams over three days, making it the largest in scale this autumn. WINNER performed at Kyonggi University and Chosun University a day apart, and Choi Yena toured Chosun University and Gwangju Health University consecutively. RESCENE and MEOVV were booked consecutively for Seoul National University's closing ceremony (17th) and Inha University's last day (18th), confirming that second-year girl groups have become regulars on autumn campus stages.
Seoul National University was unexpected. The university, which usually only holds spring festivals, hosted a three-day festival named 'LUMINES: Prologue' in autumn, citing its 80th anniversary. The 15th and 16th were held at Jandi Plaza, and the closing ceremony on the 17th was at Beodeulgol Pungsan Madang. The prediction in the August table that "Seoul National University only has May" was incorrect.
It's six days from the Monday immediately after Chuseok to Gaecheonjeol. Schools with confirmed lineups are listed by date. The order and time of performances are usually posted on the student council's account on the morning of the day, so the dates listed here should only be trusted as "they will be there on that day."

Looking at the travel routes, Tuesday, the 29th, is the busiest. NCT WISH and RESCENE are both listed for Kyung Hee University Global Campus (Yongin) and Hanyang University ERICA (Ansan) on the same day. The two campuses are about 40 minutes apart by car, making two stages in one day feasible. Which one comes first will only be known when the timetable is released. YB will also tour the southern Gyeonggi region for two consecutive days, performing at Kyung Hee University Global Campus on the 30th and Sungkyunkwan University Natural Sciences Campus (Suwon) on October 1st.
RESCENE, following Seoul National University on September 17th and Inha University on the 18th, adds two more stages this week, making it their fourth campus this autumn season. fromis_9 also makes ERICA their fourth, after Gachon University, Inha University, and Seoul National University. A comprehensive tally of girl group appearances is separately compiled in Autumn Campus Girl Group Appearance Tally.
Hanyang University Seoul's two-day lineup was announced by the campus newspaper NewsH on September 18th. Jiwon, who was initially listed, will not attend due to artist circumstances. fromis_9 will perform at ERICA (October 1st) and then at the Seoul campus the next day, effectively touring both Hanyang University campuses consecutively. Sungkyunkwan University's student council announced the ESKARA Day 2 lineup on September 21st, with nine teams, making it the largest single-day lineup this week. Choi Yena is on her third autumn campus, following Chosun University and Gwangju Health University.
Four schools remain with undisclosed lineups: Konkuk University, Korea University, Chungbuk National University, and Myongji College (as of September 29). Konkuk University's festival is imminent, but no lineup could be found on official channels. It's highly likely that the announcement and application for entry will open on the same day, so turning on notifications for the student council's account is the only preparation.
The Yon-Ko Games on October 2-3 are more of a cheering competition than a festival, but if you're visiting campuses in the same week, your routes might overlap. The schedule, based on Korea University's announcement, is as follows:
| Date | Event | Venue |
|---|---|---|
| October 2 (Fri) | Baseball | Undecided |
| October 2 (Fri) | Ice Hockey | Mokdong Ice Rink |
| October 2 (Fri) | Basketball | Jamsil Students' Gymnasium |
| October 3 (Sat) | Rugby | Mokdong Stadium |
| October 3 (Sat) | Soccer | Mokdong Stadium |
Game times are not in the announcement. The baseball venue remains undecided, so you'll need to check the announcement just before the event. Cheering sections are allocated based on student IDs for current students, and seats for external visitors are very limited.
Since predictions were made, a scoring is also included. The table that shifted previous years' weeks to this year's calendar correctly predicted the "concentration in the third week of September" as a big picture, but individual schools were about half off.
| University | August Prediction | Actual | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sungshin Women's University | 9/17-18 | 9/17-18 | Match |
| Seoul Institute of the Arts | 9/10-11 | 9/17-18 | 1 week late |
| Konkuk University | 9/29-30 | 9/30-10/1 | One day difference |
| Kyonggi University | 9/29-10/1 | 9/10-11 | 3 weeks early |
| Kyung Hee University Global Campus | 9/15-17 | 9/28-30 | 2 weeks late |
| Chungbuk National University | 9/15-17 | 9/29-10/1 | 2 weeks late |
| Hanyang University Seoul | 9/16-18 | 10/1-2 | 2 weeks late |
| Seoul National University | No autumn event | 9/15-17 | Incorrect |
| Sungkyunkwan University (Natural Sciences Campus) | No autumn event | 10/1-2 | Incorrect |
| Gachon University | No autumn event | 9/16 stage confirmed | Incorrect |
The delays are all explained by the Chuseok holiday. Some schools that were scheduled for the third week were pushed back after the holiday, making the last week of September the new peak. Cases like Kyonggi University, which moved their festival earlier, are due to specific school circumstances and not captured by previous patterns. Sungkyunkwan University was initially considered to have "no autumn event" due to no announcements until mid-September, but the Natural Sciences Campus is holding ESKARA on October 1-2. Gachon University also held an autumn festival; fancams of fromis_9 and KiiiKiii performing on September 16th were uploaded. As of September 29th, no autumn festival announcements could be found for Kookmin University, Myongji University, or Pusan National University.
In September-October 2026, there are three periods of three or more consecutive days off, and the remaining festivals are scheduled in the empty weeks between them.
| Holiday | Dates | Festival Placement |
|---|---|---|
| Chuseok | 9/24 (Thu)-27 (Sun) | University of Seoul Inhyangje before (until 22nd), over ten schools concentrated Mon-Thu immediately after |
| Gaecheonjeol | 10/3 (Sat)-5 (Mon) | Hanyang University immediately before the holiday (Thu-Fri), Yon-Ko Games until the first day of the holiday |
| Hangeul Day | 10/9 (Fri)-11 (Sun) | Virtually no university festivals after this |
Consequently, no four-year universities held festivals during the Chuseok holiday. The three days immediately after the holiday (September 29th-October 1st) became the period with the most schools holding festivals this autumn.
Information on regional festivals and music festivals during the same period can be found in the Autumn Festival Calendar.
Even with the schedule, this is where it gets tricky. It's no longer an event where you can just walk in like before.
It has become standard for schools to divide open-air theaters or large sports fields where celebrity performances are held into student zones and external visitor zones, and to limit the number of entrants in advance to prevent crowd accidents. Many schools also charge admission fees for external visitors or require advance reservations through designated apps.
| Entry Method | External Visitors | If You Missed It |
|---|---|---|
| Fully Open | Just enter | No problem |
| Zone Separation | Only external visitor zone possible | Give up on front of stage |
| Pre-reservation System | Apply via app/form | Difficult to get in on-site |
| Student-only | No entry | No way |
This autumn, most schools announced lineups and opened entry applications on the same day. By the time the announcement was seen, applications were already open, and popular schools would close applications within that day. Among the remaining schools, Konkuk University had not even released entry conditions by September 29th, so for now, following their account and turning on notifications is all you can do.
More detailed information on how to handle different entry methods and filming equipment regulations is provided in the University Festival Entry · Fancam Guide.
With entry restrictions, workarounds like borrowing student IDs or memorizing authentication quizzes emerged, and schools responded by cross-checking student IDs with other identification. There have also been cases where schools announced that legal responsibility could follow in case of unauthorized use.
Filming is a separate hurdle from entry. Some schools require prior consultation for filming idol performances, involving an application for filming permission along with a copy of an ID and a pledge. The background to this is the use of large telephoto lenses. Large lenses lined up in front of the stage simultaneously raised issues of visibility, safety, and portrait rights, resulting in the current permit system.
Three things need to be checked in advance: whether cameras are allowed, whether there are lens size restrictions, and whether filmed content can be uploaded online. The last point is where school and agency policies may differ, so explicit guidance should be sought.
Filming conditions for outdoor stages were covered in Autumn Stage Season, and this season's stage videos are collected under Fancam.
When will schools that haven't released their lineups yet announce them? Konkuk University and Korea University are likely to announce early this week, as their festivals are imminent. Hanyang University Seoul and Sungkyunkwan University Natural Sciences Campus have already released theirs. Most schools this autumn opened entry applications on the same day as the announcement.
Can I see two schools in one day? The 29th is the most realistic. Kyung Hee University Global Campus (Yongin) and Hanyang University ERICA (Ansan) are 40 minutes apart by car, and NCT WISH and RESCENE are at both. However, if performance times overlap, only one might be possible, so check the timetable on the day.
Can external visitors watch the Yon-Ko Games? Stadium seats are prioritized for student cheering sections from both universities, and general sale seats vary by event. Cheer songs and moves are in the Yon-Ko Games Cheer Songs Guide. Mokdong Stadium and Jamsil Students' Gymnasium opened some general seats in previous years, but there is no announcement for this year yet.
I booked accommodation based on the August prediction table, but the dates changed. Kyung Hee University Global Campus, Chungbuk National University, and Hanyang University were all delayed by two weeks. If you booked with a cancellation option, you can change it now. The predictions on this page are based on previous years' weeks, so the margin of error increases in years with holidays.
Are Kookmin University and Myongji University not holding autumn festivals? As of September 29th, there are no confirmed announcements. Schools that hold spring festivals often skip autumn. Gachon University held theirs on September 16th, and Sungkyunkwan University's Natural Sciences Campus is holding theirs only on October 1-2.
When the final Yon-Ko Games match ends on October 3rd, the 2026 autumn university festival season will close. As of September 29th, no scheduled four-year university festivals have been found after the Hangeul Day holiday (October 9-11). From this point, this page will serve two purposes.
First, as a record. The 'Season Wrap-up' table and this week's table will become the final list of who performed at which schools this autumn. Since no new information will emerge for schools whose festivals have concluded, the lineups in the table will be fixed based on announcements and reports. If a last-minute replacement or absence is announced, only that fact will be added.
Second, for next year's preparation. The composition of schools differs between spring and autumn. Many schools only hold festivals in spring, and in autumn, new ones may be held if there's a special reason, like Seoul National University this year. Therefore, directly transferring autumn records to spring predictions would be incorrect. As confirmed in the August prediction table's scoring, if holiday placements change, the same schools can shift by two weeks.
No university has yet announced its 2027 spring festival schedule (as of September 29, 2026). This is why dates are not listed in advance. Instead, the recurring pattern each year is as follows:
| Period | What Usually Happens | Where to Check |
|---|---|---|
| March-April | Student council inauguration, festival planning committee formation, date announcements | Student council Instagram · School event calendar |
| Late April-Early May | Lineups gradually revealed, external visitor entry methods announced | Student council announcements, campus media |
| Mid-to-Late May | Peak period for spring festivals | School-specific timetables |
| Early June | Last schools to hold festivals before final exams | Individual announcements |
Representative festivals include Konkuk University's Ilgamho Festival, held around its founding anniversary in May, and Korea University's Seoktap Daedongje, which was also held in May in 2026. When the spring season begins, this page's table will be updated with spring schedules, and the current autumn records will be summarized and retained.
If you're aiming for a spring festival, there are two preparations you can make now: follow the student council accounts of the schools you wish to attend, and familiarize yourself with how to handle different entry methods in the University Festival Entry · Fancam Guide. If lineup announcements and entry applications open on the same day, as they did this autumn, only those who are prepared will get in.
Around 1980, university festivals began to be called Daedongje, and Korea University's festival under this name in 1984 is widely known as the starting point. True to its meaning of "becoming one big whole," the Daedongje of that era was closer to an event created by all members of the university community, with a small proportion of external invited performances. The current form, which is virtually an outdoor concert with entry control and filming permits, is a relatively recent change. Sungshin Women's University still uses the name "Sujeong Daedongje," and Kangwon National University uses "KNU Daedongje," as remnants of this tradition.
