ITZY

A five-member girl group under JYP Entertainment that debuted on February 12, 2019 with "DALLA DALLA." The name asks, "Don't we have everything you want?" From day one ITZY paired self-love lyrics — putting yourself before others' eyes — with powerful performances, setting the standard for fourth-generation girl-crush K-pop.

Formation and Growth

Most members trained at JYP; Chaeryeong appeared on the survival show SIXTEEN and Ryujin on MIXNINE. The "DALLA DALLA" music video became the fastest K-pop girl group debut MV to reach 100 million views at the time, and the group won a music show about nine days after debut, sweeping rookie awards that year. In September 2025 all five members renewed their contracts with JYP.

Music and Concept

Title tracks such as "ICY," "WANNABE," "Mafia In the morning," "LOCO," "SNEAKERS," "CAKE," "UNTOUCHABLE" and "GOLD" mostly center on confidence and self-belief. Highly synchronized, demanding choreography over hip-hop and EDM-based sound is their signature, and their global releases have been handled with the US label Republic Records.

2025–2026 Activities

ITZY released the mini albums Girls Will Be Girls (June 2025) and TUNNEL VISION (November 2025), then launched their third world tour, TUNNEL VISION, with three shows at Seoul's Jamsil Indoor Stadium in February 2026, reaching arenas in Australia and New Zealand in April. Their 12th mini album Motto followed on May 18, 2026. Meanwhile Yeji (AIR, March 2025) and Yuna (Ice Cream, March 2026) made solo debuts, expanding both group and individual careers.
