Yeji

Leader and main dancer of ITZY. Born Hwang Ye-ji on May 26, 1999 in Jeonju, North Jeolla. Her steady leadership and sharp dance lines make her one of the standout performance leaders of fourth-generation K-pop.

Road to Debut

She gained attention on SBS's The Fan in 2018, joined JYP Entertainment, and became ITZY's leader at their 2019 debut with "DALLA DALLA."

Stage Style

Her feline-like visuals, crisp movements and facial expressions are her strengths. She often takes the key point parts of the choreography, and her fancams consistently draw high views.

Solo Work

In March 2025 she released her first solo EP, AIR, becoming the first ITZY member to debut solo, with songs that tell her own story in a different tone from the group's bold color.

2025–2026

She renewed her JYP contract with all members in September 2025 and is leading the group through the 2026 TUNNEL VISION world tour and the Motto mini album promotions.
