Sinsoyang Sports Park — Pink Muhly and Silver Grass in Hapcheon in One Day

Sinsoyang Sports Park in Hapcheon, Gyeongnam, despite its name, is bustling with pink muhly in autumn. What distinguishes it from other pink muhly fields where flowers are spread on flat ground is that the hills are designed in a spiral. From below, the whole thing isn't visible, but as you walk up, your view opens up, and from the top of the hill, the entire spiral comes into view at a glance. The charm of this place is that the pattern is visible even without a drone.

Peak for Just 3 Weeks

The peak season for pink muhly is late September to mid-October, about 3 weeks. After this period, the color fades. At the same time, the cluster of yellow cosmos at the park entrance also blooms, bringing yellow and pink into one frame. If you're eager for photos, these overlapping 3 weeks are your only chance.

To Make Hapcheon a Day Trip — With Hwangmaesan

Hapcheon also has Hwangmaesan, famous for its silver grass. The two are opposite in nature, so including both in one day won't be boring.
