Seoraksan — Korea's Signature Mountain
Seoraksan National Park is famed for craggy cliffs, deep valleys, and Korea's finest autumn foliage. It spans Sokcho, Yangyang, and Inje in Gangwon-do, with courses ranging from a cable car ride to serious hiking.
Why this region
The grand granite ridge of Ulsanbawi, the falls of Biryong Waterfall, the view down from Gwongeumseong — a mountain you can enjoy lightly or deeply. In foliage season, Seoraksan is one of Korea's most crowded attractions.

Getting there
City bus from Sokcho Intercity Bus Terminal to the Seoraksan entrance. About 2.5 hours by express bus from Seoul to Sokcho.
