Gyeongju — The Outdoor Museum of a Thousand-Year Silla
Gyeongju in Gyeongbuk Province was the capital of Silla for a thousand years. The whole city is a UNESCO World Heritage site — tombs, temple sites, and pagodas on every street earn it the name "museum without walls."
Why this region
The essence of Buddhist art in Bulguksa and Seokguram, the night views of Donggung and Wolji, the modern mood of Hwangridan-gil — a thousand years of history and present-day travel overlap in one city.
Highlights

- Donggung & Wolji — a night-view spot reflected in a pond.
- Daereungwon & Cheomseongdae — Silla tombs and an observatory.
